How fine and thin parts can I print?

A:

It depends on the condition, but in case of acrylic resin, as thin as 0.3mm thickness is possible.

Where are 3D printers manufactured?

A:

All the MITS 3D Printers are made in Japan.

Q:

Any requirement for installation location or operating environment?

A:

Please install the location with no exposure to direct sunlight.
Also, machine should be installed at good air ventilation, as alcohol is used to cleaning equipment as well as finishing printed objects.
Operating environmental temperature is 15 to 30, and humidity is 30% to 60%. @


About Resin / Printed Objects

Q:

How much can I print objects from a single bottle of resin(1kg)?

A:

Resin's specific gravity is slightly heavier than water, which is about 940cc per 1kg. There is no change in volume after being cured.

Q:

Will the object made from rubber-like resin lose softness after a long period of time?

A:

It could depend on how the object is stored, but according to our experience, we did not see noticeable change after one year.

Q:

Are there any deformations over the long period of time?

A:

For thin or very fine part in the structure, there are possibilities for deformation even with room light if exposed to ultraviolet for long period of time.

How hard are the rubber-like resin?

A:

Please refer following values in the standard for Shore Durometer A.

Can I adjust hardness of rubber-like resin?

A:

It is possible by mixing with acrylic resin.

How many colors are available for printing?

A:

We offer 9 color of dye. You can color the resin by yourself.

Q:

How long is the storage life of the resin?

A:

2 years if unopened. After opning bottle, 1 year stored cool, dark place, in dedicated dark bottle. Please note that, if you put used resin back into the bottle and save, plesae finish the resin as soon as possible.
